MDC QSO party

The MDC QSO Party was conducted on August 13. As of August 15 a total of 129 entries had been received. More are expected, as the cutoff date for submissions is 30 days from the date of the contest.

For those who have not submitted, an entry form is required in order to be considered for points and awards.

The club is in need of a person to serve as the Chairman of the Maryland-DC QSO Party. We are the hosts of the annual event and provide a plaque to the club that initiates the most contacts and points (AARC as the host is ineligible). All other participants are acknowledged by a certificate of participation.

The process is largely automated as a Python program tallies the final score as well as software to help with the mailing. Information is on the website, click here.
