For Members and Others 65 and Over and Who Live Alone

That is, if you are an older person living alone, how can you know if someone will notice your absence for a couple of days or more, when you may be in need of medical or other assistance?
The State of Maryland has a free service for residents to call them each day during a chosen one hour period and will repeat the call a couple of times if no one answers. If there is no answer after that, a call will be made to someone that you designate.

Hat tip to my older (and smarter) brother for this.
So my family is aware
I post daily to Facebook. My daughters are aware that if nothing posts, something is wrong. My oldest lives 17 mikes away and M-F works 2 miles away.
