Repeater Problems 8/29/2018

I was listening to the repeater on the way to work this a.m. and heard what I thought could be a hot mike keep the repeater open for several minutes. There was audio but no one spoke. Later, a couple of other members came on and noted the same thing. At one point we heard a timeout message which I assumed came from the .075 since it came on after I finished transmitting and the other member apparently heard my transmission followed by the timeout message.

When I got to work I listened on the each repeater on the reverse. The 444.4 was open when I tuned to it and on the reverse was strong signal (I was about 20 mi from the repeater) that seemed to oscillate in strength about .5 - 1 sec. in frequency, no voice on it.
